Exciting new woodland planted at Southwood Garden Centre
We are excited to share that we have planted a new woodland in the land next to our garden centre. It is next to a public footpath so walkers will be able to see its progress over the next few years.
It is called 'Barry's Wood' in honour of Barry Jones. See below a picture of Barry with his new sign:
The wood contains thousands of newly planted trees which will grow over the years and will hopefully become a well established woodland.
We hope that this makes a significant contribution to the environment in our local area and promotes sustainability in our community. The small wood will not only enhance the beauty of the landscape but also provide numerous ecological benefits.
