Refund policy
FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS SENT
Southwood Farmshop & Nursery Limited makes every effort to ensure that your order is delivered correctly. If any of your items are received faulty, damaged or incorrect, please notify us as soon as possible so we can rectify the problem (orders@southwoodgardencentre.co.uk).
You have 7 days from the day your order is placed to let us know. At our customer service teams discretion a product replacement will be processed as soon as possible once we have been advised of the problem. (Please note to be able to provide a refund we may require the good returned to us within the 7 day period in its original packaging). So please ensure to keep all parts of the item, its packaging and shipping materials. If we are not notified within this period then we will not be able to refund or replace the items.
Out of this period most items are covered by the manufacturers warranty over the item. Please contact their support teams for further assistance. If you are not able to find this please let us know and we can direct you to them. Most of our water features are from Smart Garden please see the link to their website below:
If your order is delivered on a pallet and it looks damaged when it is unloaded please notify the driver and they will be able to note this on the delivery system.
UNWANTED ITEM/S
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in a perfect, complete and re-saleable condition (including original product packaging, labels and instructions).
You must notify us of your intent to return the products within 14 days from the day your order is dispatched on orders@southwoodgardencentre.co.uk. If you are returning an in store purchase you must return it to our store within 14 days of purchase and provide your receipt.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item and we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund (this includes free shipping orders where £4.95 will be deducted from the refund).
For large items such as garden furniture, BBQs, water features and palletised goods, if an order is cancelled or returned after it has been dispatched, the customer will be responsible for the direct courier return, collection or interception cost. This applies even where the final delivery attempt has not yet been made, as the item may already be within the courier network. Where the original order qualified for free delivery, the outbound delivery charge will not be deducted, but the direct courier cost of returning or intercepting the item may be deducted from the refund. For garden furniture and BBQs this charge is usually £50, unless otherwise confirmed by us.

Once our team receive the item back they will inspect it to ensure it is in line with our returns policy. Then they will process a refund if it is accepted. If not they will contact you to advise your options.
