Grillstream BBQs are becoming GrillSure. If you have recently searched for a Grillstream barbecue and started seeing the GrillSure name instead, there is a straightforward explanation: the well-known barbecue range is moving forward under a new brand name.
LeisureGrow has confirmed that it will no longer supply new barbecues under the Grillstream brand going forward. The new GrillSure name is now being introduced across the range, carrying forward the outdoor cooking technology, familiar model families and versatile barbecue designs that Grillstream customers already know.
Here is what the change means for anyone who already owns a Grillstream BBQ, is considering buying one, or is beginning to see GrillSure products online.
Is GrillSure the same as Grillstream?
In practical terms, GrillSure is the new brand name for the barbecue range previously sold as Grillstream. It is not simply an unrelated barbecue company appearing in place of Grillstream.
Many of the familiar ranges, designs and cooking systems are continuing under the GrillSure identity. As the changeover takes place, however, customers are likely to see both names for a while. Existing stock may still carry Grillstream branding, whereas newer products and future releases will increasingly appear under the GrillSure name.
This means two very similar-looking barbecues may be listed under different brand names depending on when they were produced and which version we have in stock. Eventually we will have no more stock of Grillstream and it will all have moved over to the new GrillSure brand.
What is changing?
The most visible change is the name itself. New products will move from Grillstream branding to GrillSure, with updated badges, packaging, product literature and online listings appearing as the new brand is introduced.
The timing of the transition may differ between individual models. Retailers can still have genuine Grillstream-branded stock available while GrillSure-branded versions begin to enter the market.
At Southwood Garden Centre, we will continue to describe each product accurately. If a barbecue physically carries the Grillstream name, its product listing will retain that branding. New GrillSure-branded models will be listed under GrillSure, while clearly explaining the connection between the two names.
What will remain familiar?
The new GrillSure range continues to focus on the outdoor cooking features that made Grillstream distinctive. Depending on the model, these can include:
- Hybrid gas and charcoal cooking, allowing you to enjoy the convenience and control of gas, the traditional flavour of charcoal, or a combination of both.
- Dual Plate cooking technology, designed to direct fat and cooking juices away from open flames, helping to reduce flare-ups and promote more even cooking.
- Gastro modular cooking options on selected models, providing greater flexibility for griddling, roasting, pizza cooking and other outdoor dishes.
- Familiar barbecue styles and ranges, including freestanding gas and hybrid barbecues, SmashGrills, built-in models and complete outdoor kitchen solutions.
Features vary between models, so it remains important to check the individual product description rather than assuming every GrillSure barbecue includes every cooking system.
Can I still buy a Grillstream BBQ?
Yes. Genuine Grillstream-branded barbecues can still be available while retailers sell through their remaining stock. The arrival of the GrillSure name does not mean that existing Grillstream models have suddenly become unusable or outdated.
In fact, the transition can create a useful opportunity for customers. Remaining Grillstream stock may be reduced as retailers make space for products carrying the new branding, while still offering the familiar designs and cooking features customers originally chose the range for.
When shopping, check whether the listing describes the item as Grillstream-branded or GrillSure-branded so you know exactly which name and badge will appear on the barbecue you receive.
What does the rebrand mean for existing Grillstream owners?
If you already own a Grillstream barbecue, there is no need to replace it simply because the brand name is changing. Keep your proof of purchase, serial number and original product information, as these may be required for warranty support or when identifying compatible replacement parts.
LeisureGrow continues to provide an official warranty registration route for eligible existing Grillstream customers. Warranty coverage remains dependent on the terms supplied with the individual barbecue and the date and retailer from which it was purchased.
Will Grillstream accessories fit GrillSure BBQs?
Some accessories and replacement parts may remain compatible where the underlying barbecue design has continued, but compatibility should never be assumed from the brand name alone.
